Siena's Blithe Spirit, Shilo
April 16, 1997 - October 6, 2007

Beware of what you name a dog because Shilo certainly was a blithe spirit that meandered through life in a blase manner. It was a miracle that he made it to adulthood, I didn't know about crates...all my other dogs that I had had in my life (one at a time because I didn't think it was possible to have multiple dogs) were always well behaved and did as I asked and a crate wasn't necessary. Shilo proved that concept wasn't correct. If he was left alone I would come home to crumbled CDs, chewed book shelves, vacuum sweeper cords etc. So we went to obedience school where he became the Top Dog and I invested in a crate. Life was easy after that. Shilo was my fun guy, he was my first male dog and I wasn't too sure that was the way to go...was I wrong! He didn't do the things you worry about with males and you couldn't have asked for more love. He thought his job in this world was to make me happy and there was no quitting time for him. Here are some photos of my "Shi Guy".
